What’s the “Buzz Buzz” About Children’s Musician Laurie Berkner?

Laurie Berkner, children’s musician and recording artist, can be viewed live most weekday mornings at 10:00 am (ET) on her Facebook page performing her themed video with her songs, and her music videos on her YouTube channel. In her recent Earth Day program, you can see her songs are so well geared to young children.

Back before the pandemic, when the Abbot Public Library was still open, her CDs were played with the Children’s Room’s drop-in craft mornings as they are great songs for kids to sing along and boogie to. One favorite song of hers is “We are the Dinosaurs”, but all her songs are upbeat and fun to sing along with toddlers and preschoolers. Now kids and parents can enjoy her music at home!

You can also find 27 music collections and movies of her children’s songs on hoopla, accessible to Marblehead residents with an Abbot Public Library card. If you don’t have a card, find out how you can register online!

Some examples of the music collections include:

Laurie Berkner Nature Songs
Buzz, Buzz
The Best of the Laurie Berkner Band (a Bonus Borrow until 4/30)
